Wheel Location Dialog¶
The wheel location coordinates relative to the vehicle-fixed coordinate system are displayed and edited using the Wheel Location dialog box. The dialog title identifies the current axle and side.
This dialog box contains the following parameters:
Coordinates x (in)¶
The longitudinal distance from the vehicle CG to the selected wheel (positive forward).
Coordinates y (in)¶
The lateral distance from the vehicle CG to the selected wheel (positive toward the right side).
Coordinates z (in)¶
The vertical distance from the vehicle CG to the selected wheel (positive downward). In HVE-2D (when the simplified 2D vehicle data dialogs are active) this field is read-only.
Copy To Other Side¶
Copies the current settings to the wheel on the other side of the same axle when you click OK. In HVE-2D this box is always checked and cannot be changed, so both wheels of the axle are always updated together.
